lyrics
SEEING GOD
Patrick Foster
When I’m overcome, caught off guard,
When I see a sign, and it takes me apart,
Now my legs have strength, and they’ve carried far,
But how will I stand, seeing God?
When I fill my lungs and they're satisfied,
And I find some release from the troubles of life,
In the infinite age, in the infinite light,
How will I breathe, seeing God?
I know I’ll be changed,
And my body it won’t be the same,
But as I am now it’s a struggle just thinking of Seeing God
When my mind forms its thoughts,
And my mouth forms it's talk,
And my words move the air, it's an effortless task,
Whether shaking in fear, or beaming in awe,
How will I speak, seeing God for the first time?
I know I’ll be changed,
And my body it won’t be the same,
But as I am now it’s a struggle just thinking of Seeing God
